Get NavonaAI up and running on your store in five steps.
Quick Start
After installing NavonaAI, follow this checklist to go live with cart abandonment prevention.
Install the App
If you haven't already, install NavonaAI from the Shopify App Store. Once authorized, you'll land in the NavonaAI dashboard automatically.
Configure Prevention Settings
Go to Settings → Prevention in your dashboard. Set your discount amount, discount type (percentage or fixed), and any minimum cart value requirements.

Customize Your Popup Design
Navigate to Settings → Popup to customize how the exit-intent popup looks. Adjust the headline, body text, button copy, and colors to match your brand.

Enable AI Prevention
Back in the main Prevention settings, toggle AI Prevention to the on position. This activates the exit-intent detection and makes your popup live on your storefront.
Make sure the NavonaAI theme app block is added to your Shopify theme before enabling. Without it, the popup won't appear to shoppers. You can add it from Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Monitor Your Dashboard
Visit the Dashboard to track performance in real time. Key metrics to watch:
- Cart Abandonment Rate — the percentage of carts that don't convert to orders
- Active Carts — carts currently open in your store
- Popup Conversions — how many shoppers used the popup discount to complete a purchase
- Revenue Recovered — total value of orders that converted after seeing the popup

Typical stores see their first popup conversions within 24 hours of going live. Give it a few days of traffic to accumulate meaningful data before making adjustments.
