Installing NavonaAI

Current Installation Method

NavonaAI is currently available through a custom installation link provided by our team. Once we're live on the Shopify App Store, you'll be able to install directly from there.

Coming Soon to the Shopify App Store — NavonaAI will soon be available on the Shopify App Store. Once live, you'll find us by searching "NavonaAI" or "Stop Abandoned Carts" in the App Store.

Receive Your Installation Link

Contact our team to receive your personalized installation link. You can reach us at support@navona.ai.

Click the Installation Link

Open the link in the browser where you're logged into your Shopify admin. You'll be redirected to Shopify to authorize the app.

Authorize Permissions

Review the permissions NavonaAI needs and click Install. NavonaAI requires access to:

Cart and checkout data (to detect abandonment)
Order data (to measure conversions)
Discount codes (to create and manage prevention offers)
Customer events (to track popup interactions)

Add the Theme App Block

After installation, you need to add NavonaAI's popup block to your Shopify theme:

Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify admin
Click Customize on your active theme
Navigate to App embeds or Header → Apps
Enable the NavonaAI Popup block
Click Save

The NavonaAI theme app block must be added to your theme for the popup to appear. Without it, the prevention system won't be visible to shoppers. You can also access the theme editor directly from your NavonaAI dashboard settings.

Configure Your Settings

You'll be redirected to the NavonaAI dashboard where you can:

Set your discount type and amount
Configure minimum purchase thresholds
Enable AI Prevention

After Installation

Once installed and configured, NavonaAI will begin:

Monitoring visitor behavior on your store
Learning your customers' browsing patterns
Displaying prevention popups to shoppers showing exit intent

During the first 30 days, NavonaAI relies primarily on proven heuristic signals while the AI models learn your store's unique visitor patterns. Performance improves over time as the system collects more data.
