Design Tests
Compare two Popup Studio designs in a NavonaAI design test, see how shoppers are split, and promote the winning design in one click.
A design test compares two Popup Studio designs. Each group of shoppers sees its own design, and NavonaAI measures which one brings more shoppers back to buy.
Design tests are available on the Scale and Done-For-You plans, and they are rolling out.
Setting One Up
- Open A/B Testing and create a test, or use the design card in Recommended tests.
- For each group, under Popup design, choose Browse designs. The picker is searchable (Search designs by name), shows 12 designs per page, and marks each design as Live now or as being used in a test.
- If the design you want is still a draft, publish it from the picker.
- Check the What differs panel. The app recommends changing one thing at a time, so keep the offer the same in both groups if you are testing designs.
- Check the estimated time to a result and start the test.
Designs Are Locked While a Test Runs
A design in a running or scheduled test cannot be edited, unpublished, archived or deleted. Popup Studio tells you which test is using it. Stop the test, or wait for it to finish, to change the design.
Promoting the Winner
When the test is finished, promote the winning design in one click. It becomes your live popup, and the change is logged.
