How do I install NavonaAI on my Shopify store?

NavonaAI is available on the Shopify App Store — search "NavonaAI" or "Stop Abandoned Carts," or install from the listing directly. Installation is self-serve and starts with a 14-day free trial (no credit card required). Can I customize the popup to match my brand?

What happens to the discount code after the shopper leaves?

Codes are generated when the popup triggers and are single-use. If the shopper doesn't redeem it, NavonaAI's cleanup process automatically deactivates it within a few minutes, so unused codes don't pile up in your Shopify admin. → Prevention overview

What does cart abandonment rate mean, and what's a good one?

Can I recover abandoned carts without collecting emails?

What is bot protection and should I enable it?

It filters automated traffic (crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers) out of your analytics so your metrics reflect real shoppers. We recommend keeping it on — it prevents inflated cart counts from skewing your abandonment rate and recovered revenue. → Bot protection

How is "Total Sales Lost" calculated?

A/B Testing

Can I A/B test my prevention settings?

Will I be able to test different discount amounts?

Yes — that's the most common experiment type planned. You'll create two variants with different discount values and NavonaAI will split traffic evenly and track which converts better. → What you'll be able to test

How long should an experiment run?

Plan for at least 7–14 days to capture full weekly shopping patterns. Lower-traffic stores should favor volume-based termination over a fixed duration. → Metrics & significance


Email & Notifications

Which tab an email lands in is decided automatically by your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) — a sender can't force a specific tab, so it's not a setting we can flip. But you can train your mailbox in seconds, and it'll stick for all future emails:

  • Gmail (web): Drag any NavonaAI email from Promotions onto the Primary tab — when Gmail asks "Do this for future messages?", choose Yes.
  • Add us to your contacts: Add stoyan@send.navona.ai to your address book; mail from known contacts goes to the main Inbox.
  • Create a filter (most reliable): Gmail → Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses → Create a new filter → enter stoyan@send.navona.ai in FromCategorize as → Primary (and optionally Never send to Spam).
  • Outlook / other providers: Mark a NavonaAI email as Not junk / Focused, or add the sender to your safe-senders list.
